Terms of use
Last updated 16 October 2026
These terms cover the Remie iOS app and website, provided by the Remie team. By creating an account or using Remie, you agree to these terms. Contact us at info@heyremie.com.
Your account
Provide accurate account details, keep access to your email secure and use only accounts and households you are authorised to access. Tell us if you suspect someone has gained unauthorised access. You are responsible for the records you add and the invitations you share.
Households and carers
Invite people only when you are authorised to share the household's information. Review their roles, guest permissions and access dates. Shared care records may remain available to other members after you leave or delete your account. Carers must follow the owner's instructions and seek clarification when needed.
Your content
You retain your rights in the photos, documents and information you provide. You give Remie permission to store, process and display that content to provide the service, including to your authorised household members and guests and through the providers described in our Privacy policy. Provide only content you have the right to use and share.
Do not use Remie to harass others, share unlawful content, bypass access controls, collect other households' information, disrupt the service or send abusive invitations.
Care information and reminders
Remie helps organise care; it does not provide veterinary advice, diagnose conditions or replace professional treatment. Check medication instructions, dates and care records with the appropriate professional. For urgent concerns, contact a veterinarian directly.
Reminders, shared check-ins and scanned text can be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Verify scanned text before relying on it, and keep your own plan for essential care. Do not rely on Remie as your only emergency, medication or appointment reminder.
Service availability
Features may change and the service may be interrupted. Keep independent copies of records you need. We may restrict access that threatens service security or breaches these terms; contact support if you believe access was restricted in error.
Privacy and ending your account
Our Privacy policy explains data use, providers, retention and deletion. You can stop using Remie at any time. To delete server data, use More → Delete account or the website account page; signing out or uninstalling alone does not delete it. Review the deletion choices for shared households.
Other services and your rights
Retailer websites, email services and apps you use to share invitations have their own terms. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms as Remie changes. The current version and date will appear here. Email info@heyremie.com for questions, support or a concern about the service.
